As many of you know, my dear friend Terri, is battling cancer. She has had a tough road these past few weeks, including surgery, ventilation, pneumonia, medically induced coma, and now physical therapy and occupational therapy to regain her strength. During her hospitalization, it was important to keep her visitors to a minimum to prevent further infection and stimulation. So as I sat at home wanting to desperately help Terri, I knew the best thing for her was for me to stay away. I began making ‘cancer awareness’ greeting cards. I have made over 250 hand-stamped greeting cards with stamped matching envelopes, using all of the cancer ribbon colors listed at www.choosehope.com. I will begin selling these cards this Thursday, May 5th, at a vendor fair, http://www.freedomfitnessaz.com/news-press.html, I am participating in. I hope you can attend as I am DONATING 30% of sales of these handmade greeting cards to the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY at www.cancer.org. As a thyroid cancer survivor, I would like everyone to have the opportunity to be a survivor…or better yet, let’s donate and help the researchers find a cure for this dreadful disease!!!
