VINTAGE CONVENTION SWAP

 

This was the card that I made for a 'Vintage Swap' I participated in at Convention.  I was so excited to use one of Stampin' Up!'s new In-Colors, so I chose Island Indigo and paired it up with Rich Razzleberry and Crumb Cake.  I also used the new Lace Ribbon Border Punch (#122362) on this card...I love how it makes a perfect border, no matter how long you need it! 

Supplies:

Cardstock--Island Indigo 5 1/8" x 3 7/8", Rich Razzleberry 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", Crumb Cake 5 1/4" x 4" 

Classic Ink--Island Indigo (122937), Rich Razzleberry (115658), Crumb Cake (121030)

Stamp Sets--Clearly For You (121976-Clear Mount), En Francais (109521)

Punches-- Lace Ribbon Border (122362), Decorative Label (120907), XL Oval (119859), Small Oval (120908), Handheld Punch 1/16th" (101227)

Textured Impressions Embossing Folder--Vintage Wallpaper (120175)

Big Shot (113439)

Safety Pin is from Vintage Trinkets (118764)

1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon--Crumb Cake (122332)

Directions:

With Crumb Cake Classic Ink, stamp En Francais onto scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock.  Use this as background paper to stamp the 'flower' and 'for you' stamps from the Clearly For You set with Island Indigo Classic Ink.  Punch out and edge ovals with Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink.  Run Island Indigo cardstock through Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and distress with Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink. Attach Island Indigo piece to Crumb Cake piece and attach to card front. With 5 1/4" x 2" scrap of Rich Razzleberry, punch lace ribbon border down long edge. Thread ribbon through holes of punched lace border and tie knot.  With Mini Glue Dots (103683), attach ribbon to card front.  Use the Handheld Punch to punch a hole in top of small oval and attach with safety pin to ribbon.  Attach 'flower oval' to designer label piece of Rich Razzleberry and attach to card front.  ENJOY!!!
